Graduating from the University of Toronto, Joel spent 16 years as a senior partner at Davies, Ward & Beck (now Davies, Ward, Phillips & Vineberg), one of Canada’s top corporate law firms. His practice (corporate, securities, antitrust/competition and information technology) gave him deep expertise across multiple areas of business law.

Business Leadership

To this top-level legal background, Joel added nearly 10 years of business leadership. He led operations, business development, and corporate development for three different startup tech companies that served both domestic and international markets. This experience gave him deep insights into the challenges and opportunities of building successful enterprises.
